While you’re chatting, your widget is a draft — only you can see it. When you’re happy with it, you publish it so it appears to your site visitors.
Draft vs. live
Draft — the version you’re currently editing in the panel. Changes here don’t affect your live site yet.
Live — the version your visitors actually see on the published site.

Preview your draft
To see how your widget behaves before publishing, use Preview from the Editor. This opens the current draft so you can check the look and interactions.
The Preview action on the Editor
Publish to your site
Open the Manage tab.
Click Publish.
The widget’s current version becomes Live and is saved to your version history.
The Publish button on the Manage tab
Note: Publishing in the AI Components panel makes that widget version live. Depending on your site, you may also need to publish your site in the editor for all changes to appear. If in doubt, publish your site too.
Making more changes later
You can keep chatting after you publish. New changes become a fresh draft — your live widget stays exactly as it is until you publish again. Every time you publish, that version is added to your history.
