Once the widget is on your page, you build it by describing what you want in the Chat tab. This article walks through your first creation.
Step 1: Open the Chat tab
Select your AI Components widget and open the panel. You’ll land on the Chat tab, with a prompt box at the bottom and a few starter suggestions.

Step 2: Describe what you want
Type your idea into the prompt box, then send it. You can either:
Use a suggestion — click one of the starter chips to build it instantly, or
Write your own — for example:
“A countdown timer to New Year’s Eve”
“A big call-to-action button that rains confetti when clicked”
“An animated gradient banner that says Welcome”

Step 3: Watch it build
The AI generates your widget and shows it live on the page. This usually takes a few moments.

Step 4: Refine by chatting
Not quite right? Just keep chatting. Ask for changes in plain language:
“Make it purple”
“Make the text bigger”
“Add rounded corners and a shadow”
“Change the date to December 31”
Each request updates the same widget, so you can iterate until it’s perfect.
Tip: Make one change at a time. Small, specific requests give better results than one long paragraph. See Writing better prompts.
